After a year and a half of being closed, the Cape Ann Museum Library & Archives is beyond thrilled to announce that it will finally be reopening its doors at 27 Pleasant Street this September. From a fresh coat of paint to a complete remodeling of the space, we’ve really tried to brighten things up and make the CAM Library & Archives a welcome and enjoyable space to visit and to do research.

On Friday, Sept 10 from 10am to 5pm, we would like to invite everyone to the Cape Ann Museum Library & Archives for a Community Open House. Throughout the day, CAM Librarian & Archivist will be on hand discussing the newly updated and finally reopened Library, showcasing recent acquisitions, walking visitors through recent digital exhibits and the new exhibit in the Library, and introducing many of the CAM Library Volunteers, without whom, none of this would be possible.

At 1pm that day, please be sure to join us for an encore event of our Community Conversations with the CAM Librarian & Archivist as we look to not only share what we’ve been up to and plan on doing, but also hear from the community about how we can make the CAM Library & Archives a welcome and useful resource to all.
