Join Martha Oaks, CAM’s Chief Curator, and Leon Doucette, CAM’s Assistant Curator, for a narrated walk through Gloucester’s Oak Grove Cemetery to the gravesite of American Impressionist painter John H. Twachtman (1853-1902). Learn about this cemetery, which is listed on the National Register, Twachtman’s career, and other noted people buried at the site, including trans-Atlantic single-handed voyager Alfred Centennial Johnson.
Space is limited, reservations are required. The tour begins at the main entrance to the cemetery (177 Washington Street) and will last approximately one hour.
