Every Second Saturday, the Cape Ann Museum is free for all Cape Ann Residents. Visitors of all ages are invited to head down to the CAM Studio during their visit for a new art project each month.
In honor of Valentine’s Day and the scrimshaw love tokens sailors made for their beloved, join us in the CAM Studio to create your own scrimshaw medallion. For inspiration, view the display of scrimshaw objects in the CAM Library. This display will be on view during normal library hours and for this Saturday only. Erik Ronnberg, the Museum’s Maritime Curator, will be available to answer your questions.
