The CAM Library & Archives processes, preserves, digitizes, and makes accessible unique archival materials from the Cape Ann community. Specialized care goes into maintaining these historic collections. In this program, you will learn the basics of preservation for common items in your personal collection. Whether you plan to pass your treasures onto family, or donate them to a repository like this Museum, you will want to be sure they endure for generations to come.
Maegan Squibb joined the CAM team in January of 2022 as Photo Archivist. She has a bachelor’s degree in American History and a master’s in Library and Information Science with a concentration in Archives Management from Simmons University. She previously interned at Boston Architectural College and worked as the Archivist at Endicott College. In her spare time, Maegan teaches all things preservation in her online courses hosted by Preserve This.
