Enjoy free admission to the Cape Ann Museum every First Friday from 6:00 – 8:00 pm. Each month, CAM partners with a practicing, contemporary artist to interpret the Museum’s collections. Watch art come to life through dance, music, performance, painting, and more.
This month, the Museum is proud to welcome Sarah Slifer Swift from Movement Arts Gloucester, MA (MAGMA) and Steven Lacey, guitarist back for an in-person presentation of their virtual performance from January 2022. Their combined performance will bring art to life through improvisational dance and music.
In addition to the performance, the Museum is excited to continue partnering with Rockport Brewing Co. to offer free tasting of beer paired with art from the collection. Enjoy the light tones of Frank Duveneck’s Horizon at Gloucester with Rockport Brewing Co’s Whale Cove, White Ale or imagine you’re standing on the Gloucester Fish Pier by John F. Paramino’s bronze tables with the Pescato, Italian Pilsner.
