On Monday, January 1, 1827, William Edward Pearson Rogers published Cape Ann’s first newspaper, the Gloucester Telegraph. Before the end of the century more than two dozen other Cape Ann newspapers, of greater or lesser significance, followed in his footsteps. 

In this CAMTalk with Stephanie Buck, retired CAM Librarian and Archivist, uncover these other newspapers, the path that led to the Gloucester Daily Times, and the people who made it all happen.
