$30 for CAM Members, $45 for non-members
Have you ever wanted to make an altered book, but didn’t know where to begin? In this 3-hour workshop, students will start with a recycled book and make it their own. The class will explore a variety of methods to modify books by painting, sewing, folding, cutting, collaging, tearing. Students will leave the Museum with a good start on their newly altered book. All necessary supplies will be provided, but please feel free to bring items to include like collage materials, ephemera, pressed flowers, old photographs, or letters.
Lesley Davison currently lives in West Gloucester in the 19th Century Farmhouse her parents bought in 1968, where she divides her creative time between making collages and mosaic. She has worked teaching art for years and is currently a CAM Educator working with Cape Ann’s children and introducing them to the Museum’s collections.
