CAM Kids Second Saturdays

Families with school-age children visit free on the Second Saturday morning of every month. Special events and workshops take place from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Reservations required. Make Your Mark   Join us for International Dot Day! We will be reading Peter H. Reynolds, “The Dot” then join in with artists all over the world by creating our very own dots to be exhibited here at the Cape Ann Museum in our Activity Center Gallery!

October 12
Gloucester Sea Serpent   Come check out our new Sea Serpent coiled in the front of our doorway and then slither down to the Activity Center to create a sea creature of your own out to clay! We will be sketching our sea creatures first and then using model magic to make our creatures come to life.

November 9
Veterans Day Weekend   Honor our veterans by writing a letter to a soldier and create artwork to send overseas. We will be pulling inspiration from Winslow Homer’s watercolors in our Homer at the Beach exhibition to send our own watercolor seascapes to our soldiers.
