Cape Ann Museum joins Essex County Greenbelt for a collaborative program featuring a series of short, independent films followed by a Q&A with North Shore hunger relief organizations The Open Door, The Food Project, and Backyard Growers. Health, Hunger & Food Access is part of Greenbelt’s free 2020 Film + Lecture Series: Food for Thought. Part of Greenbelt’s mission is conserving farmland and keeping land affordable to farmers in Essex County. To help highlight the importance of agriculture in Essex County, Greenbelt’s 2020 Film & Lecture Series focuses on farming and food. With the help of local experts, Greenbelt invites us to dig into topics such as food waste, urban agriculture, sustainable and regenerative farming, and food access. This program will take place at the Cape Ann Museum, 27 Pleasant Street, Gloucester.
Free and open to the public.
