A 53-page full color catalog with 39 color reproductions of the paintings in the Cape Ann Museum’s special exhibition “John Sloan Gloucester Days” on display from July 11-November 29, 2015. The catalog also features 13 historical photos of John Sloan and his friends and family in Gloucester as well as relevant views of Gloucester. Written pieces include a foreword by Cape Ann Museum curator Martha Oaks and essays by James F. O’Gorman (McNeil Professor Emeritus of Wellesley College) and Chester Brigham (author of On Opposite Tacks: When Artist John Sloan & Capt. Solomon Jacobs Crossed Wakes in Wartime Gloucester).
