Youth and Family Programs
CAM is for kids! Families visit free on Second Saturday mornings. Join us for a workshop, visit our Activity Center for hands-on play, take a field trip, and more.

CAM Kids: Second Saturdays
The second Saturday of every month is free for families with school-aged children. From 10am to 12pm, families are invited to tour the galleries or take a free workshop in the Activity Center. Each month has a different theme or special guest related to the art, history and culture of Cape Ann. Reservations required for workshops and events.
Young at Art
Bring your toddler to Cape Ann Museum on the second Thursday of each month from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. for Young at Art, a gallery-basedstorytime! Art project and free play follows each gallery lesson.
Recommended for children ages 4 and younger with an adult. This drop-in program is free for members or with Museum admission, reservations encouraged.
A tour for history detectives of all ages! On the last Saturday of every month, take a guided tour through the collections, looking closely at 10 objects from paintings to film. End your tour in the Activity Center with hands-on play and self-guided art activities. Recommended for families with children under 12. Free for CAM members or with Museum admission. Children must be accompanied by an adult. The tour runs 1:00-1:45pm.
