The Museum is delighted to announce the receipt of a Milton Avery oil, Woman at Table (1941). The gift was donated in accordance with the wishes of Muriel K. Pokross by her children, Joan P. The Museum is the grateful recipient of gifts of Cape Ann-related fine art, artifacts and archival material throughout the year. In making these generous gifts, the donors are ensuring that their gift is well cared for and available for the public to enjoy. A complete list of gifts to the Collection received this year will be printed in the 2011 Annual Report.
