Logistics for Symposium Participants
9:15 a.m. | Registration begins |
All participants are encouraged to arrive at 9:15 a.m. to check in, get a seat in the auditorium and/or view the Drawn from Nature & On Stone: The Lithographs of Fitz Henry Lane exhibition. Please do not bring food or drink into the Museum. Water will be available. | |
10:00 a.m. | Symposium begins |
The first half of the Symposium goes from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. | |
12:00 p.m. | Lunch break |
Lunch will be served at 12:00 p.m. and will consist of various sandwich wraps with gluten free options, potato chips, fruit, cookies & water or soft drinks. Weather permitting, lunch can be enjoyed in the Museum courtyard, the auditorium or the CAM Activity center. | |
1:00 p.m. | Symposium resumes |
The second half of the program will begin promptly at 1:00 p.m. and goes until 3:00 p.m. Participants are invited to enjoy the Museum galleries after the symposium until closing time at 5:00 p.m. |
Parking
The public parking lot across from the Museum, as well as most of the surrounding streets, offers 2-hour maximum parking. If participants choose to park in a 2-hour space they will be responsible for feeding their meter. There will be transition time between presentations throughout the day. Long-term (10-hour) metered parking is available on Rogers Street, Harbor Loop, the I4-C2 lot and the Gloucester House parking lot. These are all accessible from Rogers Street. Non metered spaces may be available on Prospect Street, Elm Street and in the Gloucester City Hall parking lot.
