Quilts from the collection of the Cape Ann Museum.

On select Fridays, the public is invited to observe as CAM curatorial staff survey the collection. The doors will be open for this special project from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on the third Friday of the month through April. Join us for one session or all four and gain a better understanding of the Museum’s vast collection.

Free for CAM members or with Museum admission. No registration necessary.

This complete survey of the institution’s holdings involves physically locating objects in the collection, then measuring, assessing condition, photographing and repacking each item. In connection with this important project, four days have been set aside when the public is invited in to view the staff at work and to see discrete sections of the collection that are rarely on view.
