The Cape Ann Museum began in 1875 as the Cape Ann Scientific and Literary Association when a small group of men and women got together to learn more about the world around them. They kept a record of their accomplishments, listing the items they collected, the lectures they listened to, and the walks and talks they enjoyed. Come and discover the many curious things they found so intriguing: from mud puppies to the Victor Talking Machine.

Stephanie Buck is the retired Librarian/Archivist of the Cape Ann Museum. Stephanie was awarded a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Bedford College, London University, UK. She co-authored the bookFitz Henry Lane: Family and Friends, which proved the artist's middle name was Henry not Hugh. She has also published several dissertations on a wide range of subjects and is a veteran of many CAM lectures.

When attending the event, please have your ticket ready and present it to a Visitors Services Representative upon arrival.
