As a preview to National Library Week, have fun with book artist Trudi Olivetti in this all-day workshop. Learn about the history of bookbinding and then explore a variety of book structures. These will include the versatile accordion, the simple and practical pamphlet, and the age-old coptic binding.  

Trudi Olivetti has been a book artist for 25 years, reveling in the creation of multiple forms. She was a librarian at the National Gallery of Art in Washington, DC, for most of her professional career. When she moved to the North Shore in 2011, she became a docent at the Cape Ann Museum, where she currently volunteers in the Library and Archives.
