Percussionist Liam Smith, Percussion Fellow at Rockport Chamber Music Festival, will perform in the Museum Courtyard — take a break, bring a snack, tell some friends and settle in for a mid-week musical interlude. Free and open to the public.

Smith is visiting Cape Ann for the Rockport Chamber Music Festival Reimagining Flamenco Concert. He has worked extensively in orchestral percussion, as well as in contemporary and folkloric music and as an in-demand dance accompanist. He has performed throughout Europe and South America, and has premiered works by James Wood, Vijay Ayer, and other contemporary composers. Smith performs regularly with Moises Borges, Samba Joia, and the Firelands Symphony Orchestra, and has appeared with a diverse range of artists, from Gil Shaham to Natchito Herrera to Weezer.
