Museum members of all ages are invited to join Museum Educator, Kendall Reynolds, for a free self-portrait workshop. The workshop will be taught online and requires only common drawing materials found in your home.
In preparation for the workshop, participants should gather art materials to work with—markers, watercolors, paper or fabric scraps, glue, tape, etc. Please join the workshop ready to create your portrait on an 8” x 8” piece of paper.
This portrait workshop is part of a community-wide public art project to be unveiled at the opening of the Cape Ann Museum Green next year. Participants are encouraged to send their finished portraits to the Museum or drop them off at visitor services when the Museum reopens.
