Offered in conjunction with the special exhibition, Voicing the Woods: Jeremy Adams, Instrument Maker, this midday mini-concert & instrument demonstration will be performed by internationally touring harpsichordist and organist Frances Conover Fitch on the Adams harpsichord and chamber organ.

Fitch has toured in North America and Europe and performs with many major early music ensembles. She helped found the groundbreaking ensemble for 17th-century music, Concerto Castello, and has been described as a “delightfully inventive and compelling” continuo player. Noted for playing with “precision and delicacy of wit,” she is featured on over 12 recordings and has participated in many music festivals, including Tanglewood, Aix-en-Provence and Tage Alter Musik in Regensburg, Germany. She has served as Chair of Early Music at the Longy School of Music, as Guest Professor at Ferris University in Yokohama, Japan, and is currently on the faculty at New England Conservatory of Music and Tufts and Brandeis Universities.
