Tangled Up: A Closer Look at Knots

Knots are used extensively in the fishing industry and in maritime trade – but where else might knots be found? Families can search for different types of knots in a variety of art and artifacts throughout the Museum. Visit the CAM Activity Center to create art inspired by Jeffrey Marshall’s “Knot” paintings and drawings (on view in the Museum Lobby) using various water-based mediums. These drop-in programs are perfect for preschool and elementary school aged children. Free for members or with Museum admission.
