A Presentation of Highlights from seARTS CWA III

This program, offered in collaboration with seARTS, will honor selected designs from this year’s fashion extravaganza, Celebrate Wearable Art III. The program will feature a panel discussion on fashion and the future of wearable art on Cape Ann and beyond. The panel will be moderated by George Summers, fiber artist and retail shop manager for the Boston Society of Arts and Crafts, and Gail McCarthy, Arts Editor for the Gloucester Daily Times. Panelists include designers Diane KW, Beth Williams and Jen Greeke, who will discuss their inspiration, technique and process. 

On view for the event will be a selection of designs from the runway show: Diane KW & Anne Namba’s Modern Samurai (photo, top right), Rick Crangle’s Wooden Dress (photo, bottom right), Lorene Ireland’s Shell ensemble, Donna Caselden’s Tire/Biker ensemble, Jen Greeke’s Harpy Fashion jacket and one of the looks from Camilla MacFadyen’s Four Seasons.
