Join us at the Shalin Liu Performance Center (37 Main Street in Rockport) for a collaboration with Rockport Music pairing ocean-related artwork by Fitz Henry Lane and others, with music reminiscent of the sea. Enjoy an evening of two exciting national premieres of chamber works by the Boston Trio, acclaimed for its superb sense of ensemble and wondrous balance. The members are virtuosic and profound musicians committed to creating exceptional and daring performances, who perform both as soloists and chamber musicians, as well as serve on faculties of the New England Conservatory, the Boston Conservatory, Harvard University and MIT.

Pre-concert talk at 6:30 p.m. with Martha Oaks, Cape Ann Museum Curator and Elizabeth Seitz, Boston Conservatory faculty. The speakers will discuss aspects of both the art and the music and how they are interwoven in this concert. Wine and cheese reception to follow performance.
