Join Paul St. Germain, President of the Thacher Island Association, for an illustrated lecture on the history of the Island and its twin lights. Wine and cheese reception to follow. This program is free and open to the public. 

The Museum’s recent collaboration with The Thacher Island Association has successfully returned the original Fresnel Lens, which sat atop the Island’s south tower for over a century, to the Museum’s Maritime Gallery. The program will highlight the historical significance of Thacher’s Island and it lighthouses and offer context to those intersted in Cape Ann’s maritime past.
