New York Times bestselling author Anita Diamant will speak about her latest novel, The Boston Girl, which explores the lives of young women who lived and worked in the city at the turn of the century—and who found respite for a few weeks each summer on Cape Ann.

The bowl pictured above—a recent gift to the Museum—was decorated by Saturday Evening Girl Lillian Shapiro in 1910.
