11th Annual Women’s Luncheon

The Cape Ann Museum’s 11th annual Women’s Luncheon, presented by the Fitz Henry Lane Society and Red Cottage Society Committees, is one of the Museum’s primary annual fundraising events.

The featured speaker this year is best-selling author, Sherri Rinker.

Sherri Rinker is the author of the number one best-selling children’s book Goodnight, Goodnight, Construction Site. Rinker has said that her own childhood love of Virginia Lee Burton’s The Little House led her to her vocation. It seems only fitting that her most recent book, Big Machines, focuses on Burton’s own story and the machines she brought to life. When not on the road bringing the picture book to schools throughout the country, Rinker resides in the Chicago area with her husband and two sons.
