Women Artists of Cape Ann Tour

Sunday, March 25

2:30 p.m.

Untitled Still Life by Helen Stein. Cape Ann Museum collection.

This special guided tour provides a fresh look at the lives, works, and (occasionally) opinions of a mix of women artists from Cape Ann both past and present. The tour will be led by Museum docent Trina Smith. Trina has been volunteering and leading tours at the Cape Ann Museum for 10 years. Art and life science have always been important to Trina since her undergraduate days at the University of Pennsylvania, through docent programs at the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, and the Cape Ann Museum, to teaching at Montserrat College of Art and Endicott College.  Both art and science rely on keen observation and an awareness of place; two processes that continue to guide Trina today as she enjoys the beauty and ambience of Cape Ann and records her responses as she experiments with painting.

Offered Saturday, March 24 at 10:00 a.m. and Sunday, March 25 at 2:30 p.m.

Free for CAM members or with Museum admission. Reservations are required and can be made online at Eventbrite or by calling (978)283-0455 x10 during regular business hours.
