Children's Programs - Schedule
 

Morning at the Museum

Summer program for children 6-12 years old, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:45 a.m.
$10/class, $5.00 for each sibling. Reservations are required.

Art and history activities designed around the Museum's collections.

Tuesdays and Thursdays


August 5: Seeing Sculpture
Sculptures of Cape Ann, in particular James McClellan

August 7: Glorious Greenheads
Learn about salt marshes, inspired by the exhibition Greenheads

August 12: Creative Kites
Learn about flying kites, inspired by the Asian art of kite-making

August 14: Marine Mosiacs
Maritime inspired art

August 19: Flying Fish
Learn about the Fishing Industry in Gloucester

August 21: Summer Seascapes
Landscape paintings and Cape Ann

Second Saturday

Try out our new offering for children and families!

Drop-in to the Education Room on the Second Saturday of every month from 1:00 -3:00 p.m. for theme-based activities inspired by our current and permanent exhibitions.  Children under 12 are free.  For others, the program is free with the cost of admission to the Museum.
